Introduction
The activity log detail is a new functionality added to the Overview tab of a form. It provides project owners and collaborators with a clear view of all the activities that have taken place in a form. The Activity Log improves transparency, accountability, and monitoring by tracking submissions, edits, reviews, deletions, and form updates.
This feature makes it easier to:
- Monitor data collection progress.
- Track form updates and changes.
- Review submission activity history.
- Filter activities to quickly find specific events.
Accessing the Activity Log
- Navigate to the Overview tab of your form. The activity log details are shown beneath the submissions line chart.

- Click View all to open the Activity Log panel to view all activities and access activity filters.

Activity Log Layout
The Activity Log panel is divided into two main sections:
- Activity Chart – A line chart displays the daily count of all activities. It also visualizes the activity trends over time.

- Activity List – The activity list displays detailed activity records, grouped by the current month and activities for the previous month, if applicable. The list supports up to 50 activities per page
Each activity includes the following
- Submission ID: This is a unique ID assigned to each submission.
- Activity type: This includes submissions made, submissions reviewed, forms updated, and other relevant activities.
- Form title: This is the title of the form.
- When(date and time): This is the date and time when the activity occurred.
- Who(contributor): This is the user who performed the activity.

Activity Filters
The Activity Log comes with filters that allow you to narrow down the activities based on activity type:
- Submission Created → Tracks all new submissions/records added to the form.
- Submission Reviewed → Tracks submissions that have been reviewed using the submission review feature.
- Submission Deleted → Tracks submissions that have been deleted from the Table tab.
- Export Created → Tracks the data exports created
- Form Updated → Tracks when a form has been updated or modified.
- Submission Edited → Tracks edits made to existing submissions from the Table tab.
